What it looks like in practice
Two days off-site each year. Day one is team health, a review of the vision and a fresh 3-Year Picture. Day two sets the 1-Year Plan, picks next quarter's Rocks and works the Issues List.
The common mistake
Cutting it to a half day in the office. The team-health work is the first thing to go, and it is the part that makes the planning honest.
