What it looks like in practice
A company sets four Rocks for the quarter, each with one owner and a clear finish line, such as hiring an operations manager by a named date. Each leader also carries their own.
The common mistake
Setting too many, or writing them so vaguely that nobody can say whether they were done. A Rock is either complete or it is not.
