The person who runs the day-to-day operations of the company — integrating all the major functions (sales, marketing, operations, finance) and executing the Visionary’s ideas. They hold the leadership team accountable, resolve conflict, and are the glue between vision and reality.
In Plain English
The person who makes sure the trains run on time while the Visionary is off designing a faster train.
What it looks like in practice
The Integrator runs the weekly leadership meeting, holds the Sales, Operations and Finance leads accountable for their numbers, and breaks ties so the Visionary does not have to.
The common mistake
Giving someone the title without the authority. If the founder keeps overruling them in front of the team, the seat is empty in practice.
